North East singer-songwriter Ben Batemen releases new song
I have been following the career of Ben Batmen with interest since he contacted Lifestyle Magazine about the release of his first single, 'Don’t Breathe A Word', in July. He is a singer-songwriter based in the North East who has been writing his own songs since the age of 13. His music is laid-back pop with elements of folk running through them. Flashdance at Sunderland Empire
I was invited to the Sunderland Empire to the press night of Flashdance. Based on the 1983 hit film of the same name, this successful musical has grossed more than £200 million world wide.
The Sunderland production starred 'Strictly' star Joanne Clifton as Alex Owens, and 'A1' singer Ben Adams as Nick Hurley.
The show opened with some fantastic visuals and a high energy dance routines. The opening few minutes set the tone for the evenings entertainment.
