Shukran means “thank you” in Arabic, and there is a lot to be thankful for when you visit. Its menu draws influences from India, Mongolia, Bengal and Afghanistan.They offer authentic, classic Indian dishes, but you will also find dishes such as lamb, chicken or king prawn done in an Afgani Style, a North Bengali style, or a style typical of the Sylhet region of Bangladesh.
This award-winning takeaway has something for everyone, and the selection of dishes is phenomenal. All the dishes are freshly prepared and created using fresh ingredients, so no wonder it is one of the go-to takeaways in North Shields. Their traditional curries are delicious. The Momins Kebab is excellent, and the Chicken Tikka Malayan comes highly recommended.
